dancing to my own erratic inner rhythms
How terribly alone he must have felt. I saw a documentary about Eintein recently, and it went into great detail about how betrayed he felt when his fellow scientists joined into the Nazi regime so enthusiastically. Will we ever learn?
I can only imagine. Being so intelligent puts you in a different league, which many people don’t exist on.
Makes me think of one episode of House, where a brilliant man was purposefully taking medicine to make himself dumber, so he could function in him normal life with his normal wife.
I saw that episode! House in one of my “never miss” shows, that always manages to touch some deep chord in my psyche. The episode was particularly poignant.
BTW, I did a couple of posts about House, You can find them on my TV & Movie Classics Contents sub-page. 😀
lol, got distracted by Pinky and Brain post before I got to your House post.
Thanks for stopping by.
My stupidity has stopped growing. Wait…there it goes again.
At least you admit your stupidity, I mean growing stupidity.
Thats a pretty cool quote, there’s to many quotes for me to name which ones I like the most…this one is a true because we are surrounded by stupidity unfortunately.
That are some awesome quotes out there, so if I find one I like I just add it to my quotes page. I find it enjoyable to go to it every once in a while and read through them.
I started a series of “Quotes by Theme” posts called The Great Thinkers, but they were so hard to put together that I ended up finishing only 3. Doing it the way you did would have saved so much trouble! 😀
You should try again then, using my more efficient method 🙂
I sure have a large enough assortment stashed away! 😀
You better get to it then!
I look forward to reading more on there soon, quotes are always uplighting, somewhat witty, but always coming from a realistic place.
lol, especially the Princess Bride and Zoolander quotes! The fortune cookie one (that I kept for a long time) is one of my favorites.
Einstein, the man who interlinked energy and matter..One of my fav quotes. He kind of alerted the US government about Nazis building a nuclear bomb or something and fortunately/unfortunately US went ahead in the race and rest is history.
I believe he penned a letter to the president to urge atomic research because others were already doing it.
Thanks for passing on the pictures, I love the first picture of him, so cute!
Just realized that you missed the “s” in the title..currently it reads as Albert Eintein
haha, soo obvious and I missed it! Thanks for letting me know.
