Sara’s birthday present for me was a cooking class. There were a lot of choices, but we decided on an Asian menu one. We went at the end of September to a place called Truffles and Trifles in Orlando, FL. Twelve people showed up, including ourselves, and we all got to cook one or two items from the menu. Sara and I chose to make the shrimp potstickers (which were excellent), but it took us the whole time to make that one item. After everyone finished cooking, we got to sit down and eat everything we made that night.
MENU: shrimp potstickers, pork fried rice, honey seared chicken, pork tenderloin, velvet chicken, goat cheese wontons, shrimp and pork dumplings
dessert: peking apples and grapefruit sorbet
